Every year World Art Dubai (WAD) unites +300 galleries and artists from +50 countries worldwide, from emerging artists to established talent. We’re delighted to introduce the amazing creatives taking part in the show’s ninth edition, from 9 to 12 March 2023 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Dubai resident Jamil Boudiab will be exhibiting at WAD 2023. The long-term UAE resident is an engineer by trade but has been an artist since his teens.

He says: “It is a passion I have developed and nurtured throughout my life, specifically painting in the Impressionist style moments and images of life that capture a certain essence of it. It is a journey that started in Beirut, went around the world, and landed in Dubai.”

Jamil, what inspires you?

“I am inspired by love and appreciation of details and moments of our daily life, for therein lies the true meaning. I believe what is done in love is well done.”

“A moment to enjoy beauty, serenity, self-reflection, and deep interaction.”

What else should we know about you and your art?

“I love to learn new things, discover new experiences, and meet new people and this is what I reflect on in my artwork using balanced colours with vibrant contrast."
