Last Chance to See DIFC Sculpture Park Before it Ends for 2023

There is not long left to visit the sculpture park that was unveiled in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) back in February 2023.

The financial hub of Dubai was once again transforming into an open-air art gallery as DIFC Sculpture Park returned for the second edition this year, under the theme, ‘Tales Under the Gate’.

There are 70 pieces of art on show in DIFC this summer, from Gate Building to Gate Avenue, by established and independent artists representing diverse art movements from around the world.

From the enduring surreal visions of Salvador Dali and the monumental installations and sculptures of Anthony James to the cheeky pop artworks of American artist Jeff Koons and featuring the works of local and regional artists in a variety of mediums, DIFC announced at its launch that “this year’s Sculpture Park will be the most exciting to date.”

The event is open to the public until 30 September, as per DIFC’s website, and entry is free of charge. Schools and university groups are welcome.

Looking for a last memento? Oblong Contemporary Art Gallery, a leading international art gallery based in Dubai's Bluewaters Island, installed the works of three of the gallery's artists - Antonio Signorini, Gianfranco Meggiato and Michelangelo Bastiani – which are available to buy.
