This artwork is the second of four in "Bird" series. It symbolise the day time, when we have less fears (so the more wear is the shadow of the bird) and more energy, more desire to fly, to open new possibilities and new world, we are powerful. The ocean itself here is the symbol of power. It is made of smalti in the variety of colours, gold and silver smalti. This mosaic was inspired by my trip to Maldives in 2006, where I made the photo of this bird and used it as a base of my work.
