Funun Arts launches "Joining Hands" initiative
World Art Dubai’s loyal exhibitors, Funun Arts, joined hands with Rashid Centre for The Determined Ones to create art.
After successfully launching their initiative “Together we can”, where 30 artists came together for an exhibition to raise funds for the Kerala flood, Funun Arts launched another activation for the children at Rashid Centre for The Determined Ones.
“Joining hands” was an initiative taken by Funun Arts where each child joins hands with an artist to create a painting together. The children and artists using acrylic paints on canvas under an abstract theme created twenty such artworks. The paintings were on exhibition at the Event Centre at Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai Festival City for a month.
Shiba Khan, director of Funun Arts, said, “Working with them was so beautiful; they were so co-operative and understanding. They really loved to paint and enjoyed the colors. The smile on their face was unexplainable; it touched the heart of each individual in the room.”
Funun Art launched in 2016, is a platform for artists around the globe to exhibit in art exhibitions, be a part of art events and be their own gallery. The founding members of Funun Arts are Shiba khan, Farah khan and Shadab from India, Zeinab and Amr from Egypt, Elizabeth from Scotland and Joel from the Philippines.
Most of the events organised by Funun Arts represent a strong societal message, as they strongly believe that art can speak what words cannot.
If you missed out on this beautiful exhibition, Funun Arts will be exhibiting some of the paintings at World Art Dubai 2019.
