I am originally from Romania, over 30 years based in Germany. Till today I have shown my work in over 50 exhibitions around the globe: Dubai, Berlin, New York, Miami, Seoul, Paris, Barcelona, Beijing to name a few.

A milestone in my career as an artist was that my painting “Mother Nature” was selected (only 168 international artists selected from 16.000 applications) for the 4thBeijing International Art Biennale of China and is now in the permanent China National Art Collection in the National Art Museum of China in Beijing.

A great honour as well was to exhibit my paintings in the German Pavilion at the World EXPO 2008 in Zaragoza /Spain.

I am member of the GEDOK- German and Austrian female Artists association and BBK- federal German artist association and an art educator. Since 2006 I am the director of the Art Center Bildungschance Rastatt, an Art Education Association for schools pupils and I’m lecturer at the Land Academy of Art and Theater Castle Rotenfels.

My works for World Art Dubai 2019  “Wishhouse”

At WAD 2019 I’ll show a collection of works titled “Wishhouse”. There are paintings and drawings with utopic buildings.

At the one hand this works are describing the significance of the home like the motto: home is where the heart is and at the other hand they take the viewer into another world. For my works I’m using elements of my drawings which I have done from of actually existing buildings across the globe and put them together to imaginary architectural creations.

With other words I’m creating a world-united-open-house: my wishhouse!

Generally, my work moves in the border areas between painting and drawing, figuration and abstract, between illusion and reality.
