“Art is the reflection of life”
I am a self – taught Indian artist, who grew up drawing sketches of Hindu Gods like Hanumanji, shree Ganesh and flowers, sceneries from calendars with pencil on paper and chalk on floor of my house. These random works of mine were often observed and complimented by my family, friend, and relatives. These compliments had always encouraged me to work more effectively. Whereas, due to fewer knowledge about this field, I could not make my way to my actual destination or a career in the art industry.
But over the years, my interest in drawing, sketching my surroundings has only grown and did not even realize when this favorite pass time became my passion. Initially, I used to work with only pencils then started creating portraits with charcoal and graphite as that attracted me a lot. And did few commissioning works with charcoals. After one- or two-years developed interest for colors and started exploring oil and acrylic paintings on my own, some from buying books and learning in my own pace and convenience. Finally, acrylic painting grab my attention and I landed on it.
As being a language teacher by profession, so far, my work was mostly created with a thought of sharing information or how our culture has taught us to lead a better life and become a great human being. My art pieces are mainly inspired by nature, surroundings, and real-life happenings. I am a contemporary practitioner of art who keeps trying different styles to express thoughts in a beautiful and appealing way. Currently, practicing abstract style along with realism because this style gives you an open area to explore and paint in your own way.
