Aroma on the Street

Shelina Khimji E17

I have used current newspaper cuttings illustrating news on the challenges of growing coffee in Africa, and how the government and donor agencies help to overcome the same. I have also depicted the famous African street coffee experience and spilled real coffee as the coffee seller serves them in tiny cups. This is to signify the diversity in the culture of our coffee experience. The coffee aroma of the real spilt coffee evokes the same feelings whether you have it on a street or sitting in a high-end coffee shop as well as in the private reflective moments of our own homes.
