“Dawn” (2016) depicts the silhouette of a standing horse against the sunrise. The artist is a Veterinarian whose passion for horses inspires her most recent project “Nails and Sand”. In all the artworks from this project she mixes sand from Abu Dhabi dunes with the paint to create texture and she includes seven horseshoe nails in the mane of every horse, which represent the seven cervical vertebrae that compose the skeleton of the neck and the seven Emirates that constitute the country which is home of this project.
