A calligraphy artist from Tottori Prefecture, she creates works through synesthesia, feeling from people and spaces, wishing for their lives to be peaceful, prosperous, and joyful. Known for her 'emotionally colored' style, she has worked on designs for a Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles and the title calligraphy for the film "Kan-ai-sa."In our daily lives, we often forget the existence of important things. In Kanji characters, a single character can contain deep and profound meanings. Using these Kanji, I express the state of the heart and the soul with a brush, creating ephemeral yet powerful representations. I use Inshu Washi paper from Tottori Prefecture and accentuate it with kimono fabric to further express "the beauty of splendid Japan."
