Francine’s journey took her from Syria to Saudi Arabia, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
Her introduction to art started during her French Literature studies at the University of Aleppo. In the various countries where she lived, she attended art courses with talented artists from Europe, New Zealand, Canada and Syria. Surrounded by diverse artistic influences, her initial interest in art transformed from a hobby into the most fulfilling daily practice.
Her deepest inspiration lies in the world around her. In her everyday routine, she spends time walking and hiking, immersing herself in the colors and shapes of the North American landscapes throughout the seasons.
She sees art, like music, conveying messages and expressing emotions that may be interpreted by the viewer differently from the original intent of the artist. This is what, in her opinion, makes art so diverse and fascinating.
