Dubai Art Season is here: 5 cool cultural events you need on your radar

Dubai has announced that a four-month-long arts season is set to kick off this week in the emirate.

Dubai Art Season will run from Wednesday January 21 until Sunday April 26 with a diverse programme of artistic and entertainment events all over the city.

A whole host of events have already been announced for the next few months. Here’s what you can expect.

Dubai Art Season events 2026

1) Emirates Airline Festival of Literature

Following the theme of “Take a walk on the art side”, the season for culture vultures will get underway with the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature at Dubai Festival City between January 21 and Tuesday January 27.

2) Al Quoz Arts Fest

Alserkal Avenue will host the Al Quoz Arts Fest with a diverse selection of musical performances, cultural experiences, art exhibitions, creative showcases and family-friendly entertainment.

3) Sikka Art and Design Festival

Sikk Art and Design Festival will return on Friday January 23 and run until Sunday February 1 at Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood. The festival will feature distinctive artworks by Emirati artists, UAE residents and GCC creatives alongside musical performances, workshops and inspiring panel discussions.

4) Art Dubai

The 20th edition of Art Dubai will be hosted at Madinat Jumeirah between Saturday April 18 and Monday April 20. Visitors will be able to explore more than 100 contemporary and digital galleries from 35 countries, within a multidisciplinary and cross-cultural programme, with 36 exhibitors participating for the first time.

5) World Art Dubai

World Art Dubai will return for its 12th edition between Wednesday April 22 and Sunday April 26 at Dubai World Trade Centre to provide art enthusiasts with the opportunity to acquire artworks at accessible price points, encourage collectors and promote visual literacy.
